Thomas D. Leaper
Tom Leaper is an attest Partner at RBZ. He is also the practice leader of RBZ's Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)/Internal Audit service function.
With more than 27 years of public accounting experience, he provides audit, review and business consulting services to emerging and middle-market companies with industry specialization in technology, manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, and service companies. His consulting expertise includes strategic planning, internal control review and remediation, cash flow projections, business process development and improvement, and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, all of which build shareholder value and support for future growth. In addition, Tom aims to bring the best resources to his clients, introducing them to key business advisors who have an impeccable track record, such as attorneys, commercial and private bankers, venture capital firms, valuation consultants, and private investors.
Outside of serving his clients, Tom is either a Board Member or Board Advisor for Michael Hoefflin Foundation and Hollywood Business Improvement District, and he is a former Board Member of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Tom also serves as Treasurer of the Hollywood Police Activities League (Hollywood PAL).
Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California and New York Societies of Certified Public Accountants, and is the past Chairman of the Auditing and Accounting Committee, CPA Associates, International.
Tom graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.
