Charles Osaki
Charles Osaki has been in the public accounting profession for over 27 years as human resources and staffing director, of which 12 years were spent as an audit professional serving emerging and middle-market companies. His primary responsibilities at RBZ include leading the human resource, recruiting and marketing functions. Charles is involved with human resource policy development, performance evaluations, counseling, compensation, campus and experienced-professional recruiting, orientation and other programs related to the development and retention of professional staff. He is also responsible for developing marketing collateral, website content, newsletters, public relations and works alongside the Managing Partner to develop and implement the firm’s marketing strategy.
Stepping outside of RBZ, Charles is a member of the Education Committee of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, is a member of the advisory committee for the Masters of Science in Taxation program at California State University, Northridge and is a volunteer leader for the Boy Scouts of America. He is also a former President, Secretary and Treasurer of the University of California, Santa Barbara, Accounting Alumni Association. Charles is also a graduate of Leadership Los Angeles.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Society for Human Resources Management.
Charles graduated magna cum laude with a bachelors degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He also completed the Advanced Human Resources Management program from the University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson Graduate School of Management.
